Having your senior pictures taken early means you’ll have one less thing to worry about once you’re a senior! Many seniors get their senior pictures taken before the start of their senior year. You should check with your school to find out when the deadline for yearbook photographs is. However, the summer before your senior year and the fall of your senior year is a great times to have your portraits taken!
The summer before your senior year is the perfect time to get your senior photos taken if you want bright, colorful images. You will have a lot more wardrobe alternatives with the warmth of the summer sun, and you won’t have to worry about the cold weather. Additionally, having your pictures taken during the summer allows you to capture pictures in a garden, on the beach, or in a flower field!
If you want your portraits to be filled with the turning leaves and fall breeze, then getting your portraits done the fall of your senior year would be perfect for you. The cooler temperatures would allow you to comfortably wear jeans and not worry about being too warm. Another pro to getting photos done in the fall months is the colors of fall go great in any home allowing you to decorate any room with your senior photos.
